Poverty is a violation of Human Rights

Here in the Philippines, schools celebrate United Nations month with different activities. They also held lessons about cultural diversity. This is true to the spirit of the United Nations that commemorates friendship and partnership of nations.            United Nations month is usually celebrated on the month of October. The theme for this year's celebration is "Coming together with those farthest behind, build an inclusive world of universal rights and dignity." It is important to recall the fundamental connection between extreme poverty and human rights, and that people living in poverty are disproportionately affected by many human rights violations.            Extreme poverty and human rights are connected with each other. Extreme poverty violates the rights of a human life for example, a family who is so unfortunate and does not have the opportunity to got to school, or to attend their basic necessities like going to a hospital if

Electricity and Magnetism: The rise of modern technology

A lot of us believe that the significance of communication is like the importance of breathing. Indeed, communication is eases the spread of information and forms relationships between people. However, we continue to fall barriers but thanks to electromagnetism, we could fight that barrier and communicate with the world.     In the month of September, we celebrate Science month and for the theme for this year is “Accentuating Potentials, Activating technological advancements.” Electromagnetism is one of the basic fundamentals of our daily life. In 1831, Michael Faraday discovered that what were previously thought of as two distinct forces – electricity and magnetism – are actually part of the same phenomenon. And through his discovery, we invented things that became very essential in our daily lives. The essence of electromagnetism can be found in our televisions, cellphones, refrigerators, washing machines, computers, and many more.       Thanks to electromagnet
